Client: Major retailer with over 100 stores and support locations across the eastern U.S.

Challenge: To more effectively manage the telecom services of a rapidly expanding network of retail operations.

Solution:

  • Managed on-the-fly selection, provisioning and implementation of voice, data, Internet and other telecom services for new store openings and moves. Time frames were typically compressed to a fraction of ordinary scheduling.
  • Proactively managed over 200 invoices per month. Included invoice reviews, GL coding to individual stores, identification and resolution of errors and more.
  • Consolidated carriers regionally to obtain higher discounts and achieve significant cost saving.
  • Created a single point of contact for trouble issues and help desk services.

Results: Achieved savings of nearly $100,000 annually, while ensuring prompt, seamless implementation of telecom services for new store.
