The HopeLine phone recycling program collects and donates wireless phones & equipment to assist victims of domestic violence.

NARUC
The National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners. At this site you can find links to all of the state commissions´ web sites. (State Public Utility Commission sites)

FCC
The Federal Communications Commission. This independent government agency exists to encourage competition in all communications markets and to protect the public interest. In response to direction from Congress, the FCC implements policies concerning interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite, and cable. Issues related to toll-free number administration are usually addressed by the Common Carrier Bureau of the FCC.

NPAC
The Number Portability Administration Center has information and resources about implemenation of Local Number Portability (LNP), which allows local customers to retain their number when they switch service providers.

SMS/800
This site contains information about the 800 Service Management System (SMS/800), which is the central administration system for the management of Toll Free Services.

PUC
Pennsylvania Public Utilities Commission. This is the site of the Pennsylvania regulatory agency that balances the needs of consumers and utilities, including telecommunications.
